As a member of the L.A. Scots Pipe Band, John McLean Allan preformed and competed across North America and Europe. The band has performed and recorded John's compositions. John is also a multi - instrumentalist and singer / songwriter who has preformed with the Chieftains, Korn, the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, the Tonight Show Band, and at the Coachella Music Festival. John played bagpipes in Million Dollar Baby, Austin Powers 2, Primary Colors, Judging Amy, West Wing, Providence, and many other film and TV situations. He has two fine Celtic / Bagpipe Rock CD's Stand Easy and Tainted, and a solo piping CD Family Favorites, available at your local piping store or from www.BagpipeTamer.com.
