The above recordings from The Rising Sun Collection are a unique first for Vortex Street Music as they were recorded with the Blair Digital Chanter. Traditionally, for previous recordings such as Highland Dance Beat or Choons all of the recordings were performed with live instruments including both the bagpipe and drums. While electronic chanters have been around for some time this is the first time Vortex Street Music has utilized an electronic chanter, let alone digitally played and recorded directly from instrument to computer without the use of a professional studio.
