The Fractal World Collection by Campbell Naismith, in collaboration with Jamie Hamilton, is proudly presented by Vortex Street Music as its NEWEST publication of compositions.

The Fractal World Collection contains tunes composed during the global pandemic by Campbell Naismith and Jamie Hamilton. The Covid-19 quarantine ensure that copious time was dedicated to creative solitary endeavors. I am pleased to publish two piobaireachd for the first time and look forward to composing more pieces in this genre. In addition, there are tunes arranged for pipes from Highland vocal airs collected in the early 1700's by Joseph MacDonald. The process for accessing these vocal airs was for Lynne-Marie Friedrichs to perform them on violin as written by Joseph and Patrick MacDonald in A Collection of Highland Vocal Airs published in 1784. I would then write out arrangements for bagpipes from the violin recordings.
