Vortex Street Music

On March 21, 2026 the Margo Naismith Memorial Highland Dance Competition was held at Liberty Station in San Diego, CA.

The Waxing Moon Collection by Campbell Naismith is proudly presented by Vortex Street Music.

The book is a collection of Highland Vocal Airs and Uncommon Cuttings from the Compleat Theory as Described by Joseph MacDonald. In addition, it  contains twenty five Pibrochs and Light Music composed by Campbell Naismith.

On March 15, 2025, the Margo Naismith Naismith Memorial Highland Dance Competition was held in beautiful Balboa Park in downtown San Diego, CA.

Books and awards were given in both the Highland Dance competition and Bagpipe competition. Specific awards include the San Diego High Games Margo Naismith Memorial Award, the Campbell J. Naismith Pibroch Award, and the James Naismith Memorial Targe.

The winners of the Margo Naismith Highland Dance Competition and the C. Stewart Smith Memorial Award are announced.
